How It All Started
Lift is a family run business operating out of Puerto Rico since 2010. We’ve been riding the products we’ve been making since the beginning, so the constant pursuit for the ultimate ride has always been a part of our DNA. We don’t cut corners. We just obsessively try to perfect.
In 2013, our co-founder Nick Leason- an engineer and avid surfer- came up with the idea for the original eFoil, applying the technology from smart phones, electric vehicles and even drones into a board that would let its rider fly above any body of water without needing to be propelled by wind or waves.
It took years of R&D, components sourcing, design, and engineering, but once it was ready, there was no doubt that it deserved a worthwhile place on the cutting edge of water sports. It took on a life of its own and we’re now very proud to say that we’ve shipped thousands of boards world-wide from the same facility where we started.
The experience of being able to fly over any body of water is now truly available to users around the globe.
As our company has continued to grow, we’ve built out a family of over a hundred demo locations around the globe. We’ve also introduced four board sizes to be able to accommodate riders of different sizes and styles, and moved from the original E1 model to the E2, offering over an hour of ride time at 25mph.
Today, we still stay true to our roots.
We also continue to perfect our classic foil lineups, working with legendary board shapers and top carbon fiber suppliers to offer the highest-performance foil setups available on the market today. Top professionals from Laird Hamilton to Kai Lenny have trusted Lift’s classic foils in the most extreme conditions and are now part of our ever-growing family, giving us constant feedback that we incorporate into our design processes. We remain 100% committed to consistently holding our products to the highest standards.

How Does It Work?
The eFoil uses an advanced lithium-ion battery to power a silent electric motor that’s mounted on an all-carbon-fiber hydrofoil. Controlled by a wireless Bluetooth hand remote, it allows you to ride for over an hour at 25 mph on a two-hour charge.
Because the eFoil is all-electric, it emits no emissions or noise, and requires very minimal maintenance, if any.

Our battery is made of custom lithium-ion and is built to endure the impacts of rugged marine environments.

- is easily replaceable and rechargeable, with charge times of less than two hours.
averages 60-minutes of ride time, depending on rider weight and speed (closer to 90 minutes of ride time is common).

Who Can Use The EFoil?
We’ve designed our products for everyone from total beginners looking for a fun and safe experience to top athletes who are seeking their next thrill.
We generally recommend the eFoil for riders ages 16 and up, who weigh less than 260 pounds.

LIFT FOILS LIMITED WARRANTY
This Lift Foils Limited Warranty applies to the Lift Foils product purchased from Lift Foils or its authorized retailers or resellers for personal use and not for resale. The purchaser or user of the Lift Foils product at issue (the “Product”) shall be referred to as “you” in this Limited Warranty.
By using the Lift Foils Product, you agree to be bound by this Limited Warranty.
